A Season of Change

March 20, marked the first day of spring on the calendar, but you would not know it by looking out the window here in North Eastern Nevada. It has been snowing like crazy since spring officially began.

But change has been in the air here at the church. This change has been coming since the business meeting we had in January when the church voted to focus on outreach and advertising for 2011. Since that meeting the members of our church have been witnessing and inviting people to our church. Finally, at the end of March more visitors started showing up. Also, our advertising needs were met for the entire year through the support of outside sources. Calvary Baptist Church has already paid for a 700 piece mass mailer, that will be delivered in a few weeks, advertising our Easter services. They also agreed to pay for one more. Plus, the Nevada Baptist Convention agreed to fit the bill for two more mailers. What an Awesome God we serve.
