Clean Up / Green Up

For the second year in a row South Fork Community Church has hosted Elko County Clean Up/Green Up Day here in Lucky Nugget Subdivision. There were ten people from our church who attended this event. We filled a total of fourteen bags full of trash. We hope that events like this send a message to our neighbors that South Fork Community Church really cares about this neighborhood. All who participated received a free t-shirt and lunch at the park in Spring Creek or Elko. Lunch was provided by the County as well as a voucher for a free trip to the City Dump. Last year God used this event to improve our image and win us an ear in the community to share the gospel with. Hopefully it will have the same effect this year.
