Easter Celebrations

As you know from last month’s newsletter we had two Easter Services this year. The early service in Jiggs went incredibly well. There were twenty five people in attendance, nineteen of which were from the Mound Valley/Jiggs area. They were all ranchers who live nearby. All who attended the Jiggs service expressed interest in starting regular worship services in their community. I am in the process of finding a suitable place to meet. Hopefully the Jiggs Community Hall will be an option for us.

The later service in South Fork was another story. We were a little disappointed at the turn out there. Our attendance seems to be down every Easter. Many of the people either go home to visit family or attend the church that they only go to on Easter and Christmas. For some reason there are very few people who come here for Easter. We did have one visitor here however.
